On the morning of December 29th,Our university's second facultyand staff representative conference and the second union member representative conference were successfully held.YangHuiqing,vice chairman of Henan Federation of Trade Unions,Zheng Jinshun, head of Henan Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Labor Union, second-level investigator, university leaders YuZuobin, XingYong, LiuGuangsheng, WangQingbing, ZhaoYipeng, WenZongfeng, LiQiang, HuangSong, HuangZundong, ZhaoPin, WangWanling attended the opening meeting in the academic lecture hall on the sixth floor of the library. The opening meeting was presided over by LiuGuangsheng, deputy secretary of the party committee, and 129 formal representatives and 22 non-voting representatives from all units of the university attended the meeting.
YangHuiqing fully affirmed the important role played by our university's labor union and teacher representative committee under the leadership of the university's party and government. According to him, the university-running conditions have been significantly improved, the quality of talent training has been continuously improved, and the overall strength has continued to improve. Hepointed out that it is necessary to adhere to the correct political direction, continuously enhance the sense of happiness and security of all faculty and staff and fighting capacity.
After the opening meeting, the delegates were divided into 8 delegations to have an in-depth discussion on the university work report, the union work report and the report on the use of union funds, the university financial work report and the teacher representative meeting proposal work report, Xinyang Agriculture and ForestryUniversity's incentive performance salary management method and draft amendments to the Constitution of Xinyang Agriculture and ForestryUniversity.
On the morning of December 30th, the conference successfully completed all the established agendas and successfully concluded with the vigorous international singing. “Resolution on School Work Report”, “Resolution on Trade Union Work Report”, “Resolution on Xinyang Agriculture and ForestryUniversityIncentive Performance Wage Management Measures” have been voted and passed on the closing meeting.
The congress believes that since the first meeting of the first faculty and staff congress and the first congress of trade union members, the university has fully implemented the party's educational policy, adhered to the socialist direction of running university,enhancedsocialservice capaity, and steadily promoted implementation of the“13th Five-Year”plan. The university work report reviews and summarizes the main work of the university over the past five years. It also summarizesthe problems in university construction. Scientific plans and overall arrangements have been made for the university's main goals and tasks in the next few years and a clear deployment of key tasks in 2021 has also been made, which will surely contribute to the promotion of university education concept updates, education and teaching reforms and have a positive impact on the continuous promotion of people's livelihood improvement.
The congress believes that since the first meeting of the first faculty and staff congress and the first meeting of the first trade union membership, the university union united and led the faculty and staff to closely focus on the center of the university, enriching the business and cultural life of faculty and staff and making positive contributions to the development of the university's “13th Five-Year Plan” and the construction of a distinctive applied university.
